As you may know, Marvel Studios has released their production plans for movies and television (for the most part) through 2019. Two of their most anticipated productions are Black Panther, which has recently entered the beginning stages of production, and Netflix’s The Defenders, which is set to begin shooting shortly.
As part of early productions, movies and televisions create a ‘working title’ for the production. Usually, this is used to throw off anyone looking to search the set for clues, but thanks to sites like Comicbook.com, we can find these titles with relative ease.
Comicbook.com also revealed the working title for The Defenders, set to premiere sometime next year on Netflix. The studio will be referring to the production as ‘Group Therapy.’ I have a feeling that the series will contain a more unorthodox form of group therapy than the working title suggests, but nonetheless, the likes of Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Charlie Cox (Daredevil/Matt Murdock), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Sigourney Weaver, and a slew of supporting cast members from each individual show will make for an amazing show.
Black Panther is set to hit theaters February 16, 2018
The Defenders will drop its entire first season sometime after March of 2017.
