Captain America: Civil War (Concept Art)

It’s hard to believe that Captain America: Civil War is already rolling out in theaters, with the U.S. release now only a little over a week away. Us fans have spent much of the past year chasing over rumors, excitedly responding to the bouts of leaked concept art that teased Black Panther’s debut, and continually grew more curious with each and every new bit of information (some fact, most rumored) regarding Spider-Man. And while Marvel has done a rather great job at promoting the film thus far, briefly highlighting the Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts of Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) in the trailers, as we move into the final week prior to release here in the U.S., we can expect them to kick the marketing into full swing – meaning: I’d suggest you avoid all new clips & TV spots until May 6th.
But! If you are avoiding the TV spots but still need to fill the Civil War void in your life, you are in luck thanks to come new concept art released by Marvel. The art features Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and War Machine (Don Cheadle) in their new costumes, each in the midst of a battle of some sorts. Check out the art below!

Captain America: Civil War - Clip

(SPOILERS) Spider-Man Fights In Latest Captain America: Civil War Clip

In just 10 days, Captain America: Civil War will be released worldwide, with some other countries across the pond getting to see it this weekend. One of, if not the biggest, talking points has and will be Tom Holland‘s portrayal as Spider-Man. There will be a lot of praise thrown his and Marvel’s way for nailing the iconic character.

As Marvel typically does, they are continuing to market the movie leading up to its release and today they released a new TV spot showcasing some of the initial critical reactions. Too those wanting more of Spider-Man, then this TV spot was for you. As you can see in the video above, we get a chance to see his strength as he stops Bucky’s punch mid swing. Pretty impressive stuff for the youngster, and even more awaits.

Spoiler Warning: The clip featured in this post contains scenes that does include spoilers.

Captain America: Civil War (Photos)

With Captain America: Civil War only a couple of weeks away, Marvel is beginning to pull back the curtain on the highly-anticipated film, not only releasing various new TV spots, but also plenty of stills from the recently completed movie.

This latest batch of stills comes courtesy of Airun Garky and seems to focus mainly on Chadwick Boseman‘s Black Panther, as well as a few of the other heroes in battle. Some of the images are bits we’ve already in whether it be via the trailers or TV spots, while a few others are entirely new, offering us glances at scenes otherwise yet to be revealed.

Guardians of the Galaxy (News)

Nathan Fillion is set to make another cameo in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. As you know, he made an uncredited cameo in the first movie as a big alien prison inmate who roughs up Star-Lord and gives him a hard time. He has a new part in the upcoming film, and if you don't want to know what it is, stop reading now.

SPOILERS:

Some photos from the set of the film were recently posted by Comicbook.com and there's a movie theater on the set, so it seems the movie will also have some scenes set on Earth. The movie posters outside of the theater feature a series of movies featuring an actor that is played by Fillion in various movie character roles. One of those movies looks like a Tony Stark biopic. That tells us this is most likely set on a present-day Earth.

So who is this actor that Fillion is playing? Well, all these movie posters are being used to advertise a film festival celebrating the work of an actor named Simon Williams. That's who Fillion is playing, and Williams is the alter-ego of a Marvel superhero named Wonder Man! How cool is that!? Here's some information on the character for those of you who aren't familiar:
Simon Williams was made into a being of pure ionic energy by Baron Zemo and became the impossibly powerful Wonder Man. Meant to aid the Masters of Evil in their campaign against the Avengers, Wonder Man instead found himself sympathizing with the heroes and joined their team instead. He has remained an Avengers mainstay ever since, despite his constant insecurities and battles with his own mortality.

Captain America: Civil War (Concept Art)

This piece of concept art for Captain America: Civil War comes from artist Alexander Lozano, and it’s pretty damn insane. It features Captain America and Iron Man pretty much tearing each other apart with their bare hands. The artist says:
"…this was an unused piece that i was inspired to create at the end of working on the project. i wanted to show them fighting with their gloves off. hope you like it!”

Avengers: Infinity War (News)

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Writers Talk About "Delivering The Goods" With Thanos

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the writers of Marvel Studios' Captain America: Civil War, are gearing up for Avengers: Infinity War, which will feature the Mad Titan Thanos as its main villain. Thanos has been teased and hinted at in multiple movies (even appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy and speaking honest-to-God lines of dialogue), but he's proven to be utterly incompetent at acquiring and keeping the Infinity Stones thus far. Markus and McFeely are going to change that, and when the Huffington Post asked them the one thing they're looking forward to the most about Infinity War, they said:
“[Thanos]. It’s easy,” said McFeely. “Really giving him good scenes. You know, he’s never been the villain in any of the movies. He’s never been the main character in that way, so giving lots of good screen time to Thanos is paramount and pretty fun.
He hasn’t had an amazing scene. I think it’s an advantage ultimately, right? Because people are anticipating this guy coming in and really delivering the goods. So, I think they’re eager, and we just have to deliver it. We don’t have to convince them that he’s gonna be interesting. We just have to execute what has been teased.”
Also, a few months ago, the brothers made headlines when they revealed that they were dealing with the potential of 67 characters in the film, and many — myself included — were worried that would be too many to handle, even in a two-part film. They addressed that concern as well:
“Well, I mean that number is literally — that number comes from the fact that that’s everyone who’s already been introduced. If you line up all the characters who are available to use from the prior Marvel movies, it racks up to about 60 something characters, let alone the new ones you could bring in,” said Markus.
“Right,” added McFeely. “We had our office filled with cards of everybody who was alive and available, and the brothers came in and went, ‘Whoa.’ So that doesn’t mean that everyone is, you know, there’s not going to be 67 lead parts.”

Marvel TV (Set Photos) - Iron Fist

Marvel kicked off production on their next Netflix series, Iron Fist, yesterday which brought about the first set photos. And we have seen even more from the set today, but that is apparently not the end. Some HD photos have now been released online by Just Jared that show Danny’s (Finn Jones) journey of returning to New York.

The photos feature Danny Rand and the newly cast Joy Meachum (Jessica Stroup) together and seemingly being reacquainted for the first time since his disappearance. The photos do not give too much detail besides the look of the characters, but it is just exciting to see the series actually being filmed.

Iron Fist will stream exclusively on Netflix in 2017

Captain America: Civil War - Imax Posters

In just over two weeks, Captain America: Civil War will hit theaters as Marvel kicks off Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie has the most powered people in a single movie to date, and that means there have been plenty of promotions for each of them. Similarly to what Marvel has done recently for Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man, there will be new, exclusive posters released throughout the films theatrical run.

IMAX has revealed three new posters that will be given away to IMAX ticket buyers on 5/8, 5/15, and 5/22. However, there is a catch, these posters are only available at AMC Theaters. So if you are lucky enough to have an AMC nearby and want to see Civil War in IMAX, do so on one of the previously mentioned dates and you may receive one of the following posters.

Marvel TV (Set Photos) - Iron Fist

The fourth series in the deal between Marvel & Netflix, Iron Fist, officially entered production today. And as it stands, Marvel has only confirmed the castings of Finn Jones as the titular character, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup (Joy Meachum) & Tom Pelphrey (Ward Meachum), leaving plenty of roles to still be announced. Something that should change soon with the series having officially kicked off filming. For now, while we await more (confirmed) casting news, we can at least excitedly check out the first batch of set photos below!

Captain America: Civil War (Concept Art)

Some new Captain America: Civil War promo material has been released to help prepare you for the greatness that awaits you in the highly anticipated film. We've got a few new pieces of concept art for Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) created by artist Ryan Meinerding, who offers some information on the costume and what they wanted to accomplish with it:
"The overall concept is that it’s a woven suit- on a more granular level, there is Vibranium woven into the fabric. This Vibranium thread would provide a silver sheen so that when it catches the light, it would glisten a bit. From there we tried to create a design language for patterns to fit very subtly into the hard Vibranium pieces that are woven through the suit."
