Avengers: Infinity War - D23 Expo Trailer Breakdown

Marvel's Kevin Feige brought out a giant stable of talent to introduce the trailer: Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and co-director Joe Russo.

The trailer — screened exclusively for attendees and not simultaneously released online — begins with the Guardians of the Galaxy on their ship, floating through a creepy section of space. Star-Lord (Pratt) tells his crew to put on their "mean faces" because things could get dangerous. Suddenly, a body hits their spaceship. It's an unconscious Thor (Hemsworth), wearing his gladiator garb from Thor: Ragnarok (smart money is on the end of November's Ragnarok leading directly into 2018's Infinity War). They bring him inside the ship, and Mantis (Klementieff) wakes him up.

Thor looks around, sees Star-Lord and asks the natural question: "Who the hell are you guys?"
Next, we're on Earth, where our heroes are dealing with death and destruction. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) has the Tesseract (the Infinity Stone he played around with in The Avengers), and he's up to no good. In New York, Peter Parker is on a school bus and sees his arm hair is rising (Spider-Sense?).

It's hard to break down how wild this trailer is, but here's just a few other small observations:

— Spider-Man has a new suit that looks quite advanced, a la the one at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming or the costume from the Spider-Man 2099 comics.

— Captain America has a beard and looks like he's been through a lot. It's clear he's been off doing something away from Iron Man's Avengers and that this is their first time seeing him again.

— Thanos wears the Infinity Gauntlet and pulls down part of a moon to battle the Avengers on an alien planet.

— Doctor Strange battles alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy and Iron Man on this planet.

Marvel TV – Inhumans

Inhumans is yet another Marvel project coming to the small screen while also getting an IMAX release. With all these new Marvel projects popping up, many people are wondering what makes this show different than every other show with heroes and villains and powers.

This is such a new an interesting take for a hero based show. This is in no way an origin story about how someone gets their powers and learns to use them. They have had their powers all their life, and are now trying to assimilate into a culture and society quite different than what they are used to. Especially considering they are royalty, this is quite the change of circumstances.
Also revealed were a few new images a couple of which feature Black Bolt and Maximus

You can check out the trailer for Inhumans here.

Black Panther - Photos

Entertainment Weekly has released the cover of their annual San Diego Comic-Con issue and it's graced by Marvel's Black Panther. They also released a lot of cool new photos from the film that are definitely worth checking out! They give us a better more detailed look at many of the characters that are a part of the story that this Ryan Coogler-directed film will tell. I absolutely love the visual style of this film! It's so vibrant!
Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. Marvel TV – Inhumans

Since ABC showed advertisers a trailer for the upcoming show Inhumans back in May, fans have been eagerly awaiting a trailer to drop onto the internet.  Many saw a leaked version of that trailer, with an odd “Scott B.” wordmark over it, before Disney managed to get the video yanked off of YouTube and Twitter.  The delay has been unusual.  Why was it taking so long?  Well, the wait is about to be over.  Inhumans will release their first trailer on Thursday and the teaser to the teaser has already arrived.

The social media accounts of Marvel have unveiled the official IMAX poster for the show. Check it out here in all its glory.

The poster features a stoic looking Black Bolt along with Medusa and has Iwan Rheon‘s villainous Maximus front and center. And guess what? Medusa kinda looks great! Fans have been worried ever since seeing the less than stellar cast photo that hit the internet last May so it’s kinda cool seeing her look the way she should look in the show. Let’s just hope it translates well into the show. Other than that, it’s a pretty well-designed poster. IMAX usually does great posters and this is no exception. If only the actual film posters were up to par to this.
