Captain America: Civil War (News)

New ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Images Reveal Villain Crossbones

February is almost over, and you know what that means—the “summer” movie season is about to begin. Indeed, blockbusters are arriving earlier than ever in 2016, as we’ve already seen with the massive success of Deadpool in February, and March brings us one of the biggest movies of the year, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But Marvel Studios is sticking with what works, as their first superhero movie of 2016 will be released when the summer movie season traditionally begins: the first weekend of May. That doesn’t mean that marketing can’t kick into gear early, though, and today a couple of revealing new images from Captain America: Civil War have been released online.

Captain America: Civil War (News)

Note: The information below is nothing more than a rumor for the time being. Given that it's from Reddit, chances of it being probable are unlikely, but with the film only a few months away, it's more than likely a second trailer will hit this month.

Most of us were hoping that Marvel would have released a full trailer, but the teaser more than fed the appetite of us fans.
If you are still wanting more (and let's be honest, who isn't?), well then there's a chance that you may be in luck very very soon. A new rumor coming from Reddit is claiming to know that a new trailer will drop on Tuesday, February 16th and that they know what will be included in it. Before we get to what could be included, do not take this as a confirmation, if anything, put it as far away from that as possible.
Here are some of things this Reddit user is claiming will appear:
  • Black Panther fighting Captain America
  • Scarlet Witch and Vision together
  • Ant-Man speaking and running across a keyboard
  • Captain America's shield gets stuck in webbing
  • Spider-Man swinging around Avengers tower
  • Captain America dents Iron Man's helmet with a punch
So there you go.

I am still under the belief that Marvel will hold of on showing Spider-Man in the trailers. If they do happen, I find it unlikely that they'll show two teases of him in a single trailer. All they need is one, and one where he is swinging around the Avengers tower is way more unlikely than a shot of something getting caught in webbing.

Guardians of the Galaxy (Set Photos)

Director James Gunn begins production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 today in Atlanta, Georgia! To kick things off, he released a photo from the set of the film showing us the new official logo for the movie. It came with the following caption:

"To quote the great poet David Coverdale, Here I Go Again."
The director also said that next week we will get an official announcement revealing the full cast for the highly anticipated sequel. So far we know that Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper, are all returning to reprise their roles. Then there's Michael Rooker and Karen Gillan who will return as Yondu and Nebula, with Pom Klementieff reportedly playing Mantis and Kurt Russell could end up in the role of Star-Lord’s dad.
