Jessica Jones Teaser
Much like how they went about releasing the last teaser, Marvel and Netflix released a brand new teaser on Twitter without any sort of notice. In the first teaser, we saw Jessica smashing her alarm clock as it went off in the afternoon. And while it was short, it did a fantastic job at capturing Jessica's character and her strength. Yet, it doesn't do so nearly as well as this new teaser.
One of the greatest things about Jessica Jones is that she's a fighter that honestly doesn't care much about what people think of her. So seeing her walking among a bunch of people she's knocked out with "Bad Reputation" playing in the background? It's a pretty great sense of who she is and what we can expect when the series hits Netflix in November.
Captain America: Civil War (News)
We've known that some big things will be happening in Captain America: Civil War, but I never really thought of the movie closing out a trilogy of films. But that's exactly what Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed in an interview with MTV. This upcoming Captain America film will close out a story arc that began with Captain America: The First Avenger. When asked about the film, he said:
“It’s very much, in a certain way, the completion of a Captain America trilogy. I think one day you’ll look back and watch — ’Captain America: The First Avenger,’ ’Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ and ’Captain America: Civil War’ — and it’ll be one of the most unique and different trilogies ever around a single character.”Feige went on to say that the non-Captain America characters being brought into Civil War also played an important part in the story:
“[We’re] bringing in some of the other players, most importantly Tony Stark, to tell that ’Civil War’ story. But it is very much a sequel to ’Winter Soldier.'”
There were rumors that they might kill off the character in Civil War, but Evans has already confirmed that he will be in Avengers: Infinity War.

Ant-Man Surpasses Captain America: The First Avenger's Domestic Box Office Total
Ant-Man Surpasses Captain America: The First Avenger's Domestic Box Office Total
Marvel’s littlest hero is climbing the ranks of the studio’s box office successes. With a new domestic total of $177 million, Ant-Man has surpassed the domestic total of Captain America: The First Avenger ($176.6 million), according to Forbes. That makes Ant-Man the third lowest grossing Marvel Studios film, above The First Avenger and The Incredible Hulk ($130 million), despite being the cheapest film the studio has made so far.
With the film’s Chinese opening still a month away, Ant-Man could surpass Thor’s $441 million global box office take. Estimates suggest the film has already past the $400 million mark worldwide.
While inflation of ticket prices since the first Captain America’s 2011 releaseand a bump from 3-D audiences may have something to do with Ant-Man’s rise in the ranks, it’s still an impressive climb for Marvel’s smallest film.

Marvel Studio News
Since Marvel Studios first started making movies, President Kevin Feige had to report to Marvel Entertainment CEO Isaac "Ike" Perlmutter. This is something that he had to do even after Disney bought Marvel. But that has all changed now. According to THR, Feige will now only have to report to Disney studio chief Alan Horn, which is a good thing for Feige, Marvel, and the movies they make.
A Disney spokesperson told the site:
"Marvel Studios is taking the next logical step in its integration with The Walt Disney Studios, joining Pixar and Lucasfilm in centralizing many of its film-related functions in Burbank, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and co-president Louis D’Esposito continuing to lead the Marvel Studios team reporting to Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn."This is going to make Feige's life so much easier. Perlmutter is described as a "low-profile billionaire who has contributed to Marvel's reputation in Hollywood for frugality and secrecy (as THR reported in a 2014 feature, he attended the premiere of Iron Man in a disguise to go undetected and once complained that journalists at a press junket were allowed two sodas instead of one)."
