Kevin Feige Seemingly Reveals Title For Guardians Sequel

Collider recently asked Feige when the sequel will begin production and here is what he had to say:

We start shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 in February-March 2016.

Does this mean that the sequel is actually titled Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2? It is possible even if Feige was "noncommittal" in confirming this after making the statement.

This title works on a number of levels, and something we at MCUExchange thought would make sense. Calling the sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 would be a great nod to the soundtrack of the movie and Peter Quill's last gift from his mother.

Entertainment Weekly has just released seven new character posters for Ant-Man, as well as some new footage from the film, set to release next month, in order to get fans even more excited for the latest entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will appear in Captain America: Civil War.

During their interview Marvel Studios executive Kevin Feige, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Tom Holland, who was just announced as Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ new Spider-Man, is heading to Captain America: Civil War’s set.

Ever since the deal between Marvel and Sony was announced earlier this year, the one thing fans have been waiting to find out is who will be the next actor to wear the Spidey suit?

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are proud to announce that after a full worldwide casting search, Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film, in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017.  The film will be directed by Jon Watts, director of "Cop Car," the upcoming thriller that made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival.

A new UK poster has surfaced for Marvel's Ant-Man, and it features the heroic character in a giant "A." That could either be a "A" for Ant-Man or an "A" for Avengers

Following some promo art shared by Hawkeye himself Jeremy Renner, Marvel have also released a new and updated logo for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. There’s nothing drastically different about it, but it’s slightly cleaner than the last one.

Jeremy Renner, who is reprising his role as Hawkeye in Captain America: Civil War, shared a photo on Twitter of himself holding a promo poster of sorts that was given to him when he showed up on the set of the film. As you can see, it features Iron Man and Captain America, and it comes with the tag line, “Whose Side Are You On?”

Doctor Strange (News)

It was initially reported that Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor was being courted by Marvel for a lead role in Doctor Strange back in January of this year. At first, many speculated Ejiofor could be joining the film as Brother Voodoo, but now we know what role he'll actually be playing in the film thanks to a new report from Deadline.

Per their sources, Ejiofor will be be playing Baron Mordo, who first appeared in Strange Tales #111 back in 1963. Mordo is a villain in the comics, but according to Deadline, it doesn't appear as though that will be the case in the movie. It sounds as though he'll be a combination of various characters from the Doctor Strange mythology.

However, those who’ve read the original Civil War comic book storyline will remember that Fury remained in hiding following the war’s outbreak – and used old decommissioned S.H.I.E.L.D. safe-houses to house Captain America and his Secret Avengers. With that in mind, it is possible Civil War will allude to Fury and suggest he is in hiding, possibly helping Cap offscreen.
